Hey loves! I am sorry for being so inactive but its been very hectic lately and as I have mentioned in my earlier post I am just hating this weather, its unbelievably humid and hot
Okay! So lets stop with the cribbing and start the post with the hope that this weather improves (Fingers crossed)
So in todays's post I wanted to share with you my 'August Beauty Favourites'.

LIPSTICK HEAVEN
M.A.C SUSHI KISS- Its a peachy coral lipstick with a satin finish to it, its medium weight with creamy consistency. Sushi Kiss was a part of the 'M.A.C All About Orange collection'
Its well pigmented and unlike the matte finish it isn't drying and has a very dewy look to it. It stays on for good amount of time but you need to reapply it if wearing it for long hours.
M.A.C CANDY YUM YUM- Its a bright neon pink colour and comes in matte finish. Candy yum yum was a part of the 'M.A.C Quite Cute collection'. I usually wear it with nude eyes as its a bold colour and I like one thing to stand out, but maybe next time I wear it with silver smokey eyes. Its highly pigmented and stays on for 5 to 6 hours.
These two are priced at 17 USD ( Around 1100 INR) but I suggest buying it from the MAC stores in India as the official site of M.AC doesn't ship here and sites like Amazon, ebay sell it at a double price.
COLORBAR RUSTIC and ROYAL PINK - Its actually a matte lip stain which while applying feels like a liquid lipstick but within 5 to 10 seconds it turns into a super matte finish, the one thing I like about it is that its so lightweight that one feels that there is no lipstick on. Its priced at 900 INR
My ultimate favourite is the rustic one.

CONTOURING AND HIGHLIGHTING FAVOURITES
-KAT VON D SHADE + LIGHT PALETTE

Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette
After Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour palette, Kat Von d is my favourite. I fell in love with how richly pigmented it is and also super blend able. It comes in a sturdy cardboard type box with a mirror on the inside. The packaging is quite artistic.
The palette has three contour shades and three highlighting shades, the contour shades do not have very warm orangey tone which makes it a good option for fair to medium skin tones, and the highlight shades are neutral and cool, these have a matte finish to it.
The powder does fall out a lot which gets a bit messy but otherwise its worth having in your kit.
I have added the swatches of the shades in pictures below, its priced at $36 ( Around 2400 INR) around $45 on Amazon excluding the shipping cost to India

M.A.C PRO CONCEAL AND CORRECT PALETTE
I love love this palette whether its for concealing or contouring, I have the light palette as well but I use that one for concealing.
This one I particularly bought for contouring as it has the perfect dark shade which I can use for my contour, its super creamy and blend able. I use NW43 for the purpose of contouring.
HIGHLIGHTING
M.A.C SOFT N GENTLE - My 'Go To' product. Its a golden peachy colour, super pigmented and shows on your skin in a subtle manner. It gives my face a very beautiful glow and I love that about it.
BENEFIT WATT'S UP - Its has cream to powder effect and has a champagne hue. Its super easy to use unlike the liquid ones which can get messy, highly pigmented and I prefer blending it with my fingers rather than the buff that comes with it. Its my holy grail highlighter.
You can also buy it from Sephora stores where you can try the tester too as well as buy it for the original price.
CHAMBOR LIGHT AND SHEER - This one is a liquid highlighter, the texture feels like a lotion. Its champagne hued and gives a very natural glow. I use it by mixing it with my foundation just to get a dewy look overall. Its priced at 1295 INR. Its one of my favourites. I am happy to see that its available in my town
Buy it at the lifestyle store at the wave mall or at the Chambor stores in various malls across India.

FOR BAKING/SETTING THE CONCEALER
Y.S.L SOUFFLE DE ECLAT, LAURAMERCIER SETTING POWDER-
These both are amazing products, I don't think my make up will be complete without applying these.
They are meant to mattify your skin while giving a natural finish.
I use them for Baking or setting my concealer, The YSL one has four shades I use number 1, its perfect for my complexion and has light pink hue.
Laura mercier powder is said to be translucent, this makes it such a popular one among the powder products. They both hug to the skin without forming any crease. Both are lightweight and mess free.
M.A.C BLUSH IN 'PEACHES'
Its the sheer tone blush with a soft matte finish. Its a very subtle peach colour which will show on fair tones the most, for medium skin tones two application might be needed. I love its consistency and also that it looks so soft and natural on ones face. Definitely a thumbs up!

TOO FACED SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE BAR/ EYESHADOW PALETTE
The first thing that will catch the attention of every lady is its chocolate fragrance, its so attractive and one feels like eating it right away lol
It was released in Spring 2015. The colours in this palette are very versatile and one can create different looks using these. One thing that disappoints me is that some of the shades are not well pigmented and some are not even noticeable like the PINK sugar one. Its just glitter in my opinion with a fall out mess. Also I am quit disappointed with blue tone as its too light and not pigmented at all, I will any day go for the naked palettes. But some of the shades in this palette makes me love it so I will continue using it.
