'O' AND 'M' OTD

'O' AND 'M' OTD

Hey Loves! Today I decided to combine my OOTD and MOTD in one post so that you can read about the whole look at once and don't have to wait for them separately.
 I know lately I am all about slicked back ponytails and buns, because I hate Monsoons everything about this weather irks me specially how my hair behaves. No matter what I do, its frizzy, oily and every hairstyle never reaches perfection except this one, so it explains why I love this hairstyle so much. Also because of the humidity the hair on the neck or the face is almost intolerable so this hairstyle is a good option.
Scroll below for more information on this look :)

WHITE AND BLUE AFFAIR

So for  the OOTD I chose a white and blue striped crop top from Zara, I picked this up from Zara last time when I was in Delhi. It was on sale and not in a good condition( thats what happens in a Zara sale, nothing remains fresh or clean :p)  but I still bought it as I loved it and I knew I can get it fixed at my workshop :D I wore it with a blue High Waisted pants from @whatthefashionstore, the pants fitting is exactly what I need, paired it with Zara heels and bag. And an outfit is so incomplete without the right pair of sunnies so here I picked up one from Prada ;)

For this hairstyle, I have applied Schwarzkopf Souffle with a serum and then using a tail comb I centre part my hair and make a ponytail or a bun. I don't like using a gel, I hate the texture it gives to the hair, so souffle and serum works good for me :)

Also made a video on quick contouring for you guys. I know the quality of the video is not very good as I have used iPhone 6+ front camera but soon my next video will be recorded using an HD camera :)

WHAT I WORE

'WHAT I WORE'

Hey loves! Been so long, I hope you all are well and healthy. Since the last week I have been busy with travelling and work. I had gone to Kashmir for celebrating Eid with my extended family there, many of you had asked whether I am from Kashmir or Jammu, so I thought of sharing with you all that my roots belong to Kashmir but I am born and have lived my entire life in Jammu :D
As I couldn't take out time to do individual post on each outfit I though of doing them together in one post. Sorry for not being active everyday as my work demands a lot of time and by the end of the day I am too exhausted. Hope you understand and like each post of mine.

I have given info on each look please, scroll down to know more :)

ZARA DUNGAREE AND ALDO METALLIC OXFORD SHOES

Remember as kids dungaree used to be the favourite dress for our mothers, in my case in almost every function I was dressed up in a dungaree :p and no matter what my mom used to keep on buying new ones in different style ( I have posted an old picture of me in a dungaree when I was a kid) . After so long the Dungaree is back in my wardrobe and honestly I love it.
I am wearing Zara dungaree and tank top, paired with Aldo oxford shoes.

 I have provided links from where you can buy a similar look, scroll below.

EID OUTFIT

The top is from my own brand What The Fashion, wore it for Eid celebration, also wearing high waisted jeans from miss selfridge which is a UK based store and its designs are available at Jabong.com in India. Paired it with Pumps from Roberto Cavalli, got these 5 years back and still are my favourite.

Here I am wearing a Black body con dress by What The Fashion, summer cardigan by F21 and heels from Steve Madden.

'DREAMER=DOER'

'DREAMER=DOER'
Hey loves! Hope you all are safe and well. Today's post is extremely special to me, something that I am about to share for the first time on a social platform. Exactly a year ago I along with my fiancé opened a fashion store in Jammu which basically was intended to change the fashion scenario in my town and most importantly it was a dream of 10 years that stood in front of me as a reality.

I always dreamt of being in the glamour world, Government jobs didn't attract me much. I used to be all about making doll outfits, an imaginary boutique at home with all my mom's clothes lol and dreamt of making it big. I think my mom knew I would end up in this field but she always pushed me for the civil services but my father always said 'Do whatever you want but do good'.
To be really honest I never thought of going for Fashion Designing course at all in fact I wanted to study psychology ( which i did for two years) but destiny had its own plans. After 12th on my mothers request I appeared for L.LB entrance here in Jammu University and trust me I thought there is no way  that I will be selected and boom! after a month I had secured 10th position in that exam(I wanted to be academically successful as well lol) and then went on the 5 years of Law School grilling :p

 I think God was on my side as he gave me a life partner who shared the same fashion passion ( funny that he too is a lawyer now, too much alike ) I remember we both used to go to all these fabric markets and design a full outfit with the help of a local tailor, it used to be so fun but yet I used to feel so incomplete. Around my fourth year of law graduation we both decided that it was time to start something and we opened up a fashion workshop also a page on Facebook, we hired two a team as who could help us out in this and they.
. Exactly after a year my fiancé had an idea of opening up a Pop up store in the city as this could help us show the people of the city of what exactly What The Fashion was all about and what all we had designed in one year of workshop. So after a lot of discussions we finally inaugurated a store on 15th July 2014 by the name What The Fashion by Osmanida

I don't know but I really want to say one thing to the youngsters of this city also of the world that if you have a passion for anything then go for it, don't think what the world will say(they don't matter). You need to focus your energy on your goal and how badly you want it in your life. Time and age don't matter at all, I started earning when I was in College. Call me crazy or what but I always had set a time limit for every important thing in my life. I knew I wanted to work while in college, yes! it was difficult to juggle between work and studies but hell I did it,I used to sit in my office and study and design( Quite a multitasker lol) Also I knew I wanted to get engaged at a young age so that I can enjoy life while I am young and not wait for things to happen when I am just getting older day by day. If you can do it now, then why not NOW. So today I am extremely  happy to look back and see that I have achieved what I wanted, though I am still growing and learning but I am very thankful to Allah my parents and all of you who have been a part of this incredible journey. Alhamdullilah.
I am posting pictures of my favourite What The Fashion dresses that i have worn in this one year. So keep scrolling down and enjoy. Love you all
